These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by National Massage Therapy Alliance (“NMTA”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including our websites, memberships, programs, directories, and related platforms. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and, where applicable, a licensed massage therapist or wellness professional to use our services. You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted to us is accurate, current and complete.

2. Use of Services

You agree to use NMTA platforms only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or provide false information;

• Use the directory or community spaces for harassment or spam;

• Copy, reproduce, or sell our materials without permission of NMTA.

3. Membership and Directory Listings

• Submitting a directory listing or joining any NMTA program constitutes agreement to pay the applicable fees as stated at the time of enrollment;

• All listings are subject to verification and may be edited or removed for inaccurate, inappropriate or unethical content;

• Directory listings and memberships may include the brand “Find TMJ Relief™ — a division of National Massage Therapy Alliance.”

4. Payment, Refunds, Transfers and Financing

Payment:
Fees are billed monthly or annually via Stripe, unless otherwise specified. You may cancel future billing at any time.

No Refunds:
All payments made to NMTA are non-refundable. We provide no refunds for program or membership fees, except as required by applicable law.

Transfers:
Enrollment in programs may be transferred to a future cohort or alternative program only at the sole discretion of NMTA and subject to additional administrative fees as determined by NMTA.

Financing (Klarna and other third-party providers):
We offer financing options through approved third-party providers such as Klarna. By selecting such financing at checkout, you agree to be bound by the terms of the financing provider. NMTA is not responsible for financing decisions, interest rates, collection practices, or disputes arising from such arrangements. Your enrollment is considered paid in full by NMTA when financing is approved.

Failure to Pay:
If you fail to complete a required payment plan or financing arrangement, NMTA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to program content, supportive services, directory listings, membership benefits or any “Featured” placement options.

5. Relationship Between Brands

“Find TMJ Relief™” is a consumer-facing brand owned and operated by NMTA. All programs, payments, agreements and directory listings marketed under the Find TMJ Relief™ brand are governed by these Terms of Service of NMTA.

Receipts, statements or credit card descriptors may display “National Massage Therapy Alliance” or a related variation thereof.

6. Messaging Terms and Conditions

By providing your phone number and agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to receive messages from NMTA, including account notifications, customer care updates, delivery notices and marketing. Message & data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time or HELP for assistance.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on NMTA platforms — including text, visuals, worksheets and training materials — is the intellectual property of NMTA or its contributors. You may not reproduce or distribute such content without our express permission.

8. Disclaimers

NMTA does not guarantee client referrals, business results, or therapeutic outcomes. We are not responsible for actions taken by individual members or directory users. All users remain responsible for complying with relevant licensing regulations in their state or country.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to NMTA services, directory listings or programs for violations of these Terms, unethical conduct or behavior harmful to the community or brand.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
